Why is that so important? Because some additional options regarding

the user interface work based on the current selection button. For

instance, if you choose the right-button for selection, we won't have the

context menu.

After setting all options with the Quick Setup, you will see the Blender

user interface. At first, it may look intimidating for artists coming from

other graphical applications, but with practice, you will start to become

familiar with the structure.

Info: At the Quick Setup, you will also have an option to pick a theme for

your Blender User Interface. The default theme is "Blender Dark." For

the book, I will use "Blender Light" to make sure you have a better view

of all screenshots. You can change the theme at any time using the Edit

→ Preferences… menu and go to the Theme tab.
